What it does
Vaccinium angustifolium is the lowbush blueberry native to North America. The fruit extract concentrates the deep-blue anthocyanins (delphinidin, cyanidin, malvidin derivatives) and other polyphenols (chlorogenic acid, quercetin) of the berry. In a formula these contribute antioxidant activity at the skin surface. It is a supporting plant antioxidant.
