Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer
Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer
A lab-made polymer that forms a light film. Little research tests it on its own.
What it does
It’s built from glycerin, caprylic acid (a fatty acid) and sebacic acid. The EU lists it as forming a film, conditioning skin and hair, and helping protect skin from outside harm.
The EU’s ingredient database lists it as a film former (leaves a film on skin).European Commission, CosIng (© European Union, CC BY 4.0) · uses put in plain words by Drop ↗
