Dipropylene Glycol
Dipropylene GlycolHydrator
A humectant and solvent that hydrates lightly and helps dissolve other ingredients, including fragrance and some actives.
What it does
Dipropylene glycol draws a little water toward the skin and, more importantly, acts as a solvent that dissolves ingredients which don't mix easily into water — fragrance, certain actives, and botanical extracts. It contributes light hydration and a smooth texture and is generally well tolerated.
