Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate
A mild anionic surfactant used to cleanse and create a gentle, low-stripping foam.
What it does
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate is an anionic surfactant whose water-loving head and oil-loving tail let it surround and lift away oil and dirt. It is considered gentler than harsher sulfates and produces a soft foam, so it is used as a mild cleansing agent. It is a cleansing ingredient rather than a skin active.
