Ethyl Vanillin

Ethyl Vanillin

A lab-made cousin of vanillin with a stronger vanilla smell.

What it does

It isn’t found in vanilla beans. It smells several times as strong as vanillin, so a little goes a long way in scent and flavor.

The EU’s ingredient database lists it as a fragrance (adds scent).European Commission, CosIng (© European Union, CC BY 4.0) · uses put in plain words by Drop ↗
