Eucalyptus Oil is distilled from eucalyptus leaves and is rich in eucalyptol, giving a sharp, cooling, camphor-like scent. It is used mainly as a fragrance and aromatic ingredient. Like other essential oils it contains naturally occurring fragrance compounds that can irritate or sensitize some skin. It is a scent ingredient rather than a skin active.
