Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil
Hydrogenated Rapeseed OilBarrier
Rapeseed oil hardened by hydrogenation into a soft wax that bodies up oil phases and conditions the surface.
What it does
Hydrogenated rapeseed oil is rapeseed oil that has had hydrogen added to make it more solid and stable. It is used to thicken and give body to the oil phase of creams and balms, to help structure sticks, and as an emollient that leaves a soft, conditioned feel. It is a texture-and-feel ingredient rather than an active.
