Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate
Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate
A surface treatment used to coat pigments and mineral filters so they repel water and disperse evenly.
What it does
Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate is a titanium-based ester used to coat the surface of pigments and mineral UV particles such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. The coating makes those particles oil-friendly and water-repellent, so they disperse evenly and wear better. It is a surface-treatment ingredient rather than a skin active.
