What it does
Macadamia seed oil is a plant oil high in oleic acid and notably high in palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid also found in skin sebum. It softens and conditions the skin surface and helps slow water loss with a rich but relatively fast-absorbing feel. It is an emollient rather than a skin active; oleic-heavy oils are a poorer fit for fungal-acne-prone skin.
