What it does
Neem has a long Ayurvedic-tradition history for skin care. Modern evidence supports antimicrobial and antifungal activity in lab assays, and small studies suggest benefits for acne-prone skin. The strong garlic-sulfur scent is the practical limit — most cosmetic neem use is at low percentages. Often appears in scalp products and acne-positioned formulations.
