Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer

Sodium Hyaluronate CrosspolymerHydrator

A cross-linked form of the hyaluronic-acid salt that holds water in a gel network and resists washing away as quickly.

What it does

Sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid that has been chemically linked into a larger, three-dimensional network. Like other hyaluronic-acid forms it is a humectant that binds water at the skin surface, but the cross-linking makes it sit on the surface in a swollen gel that holds moisture in place longer and adds a cushioned slip to a formula. It is a water-binding, texture-building ingredient.
