What it does
Spearmint Oil is distilled from spearmint leaves and is high in carvone, giving a sweet, minty scent that is softer than peppermint. It is used as a fragrance and flavor ingredient. Like other essential oils it carries naturally occurring fragrance compounds that can irritate some skin. It is a scent ingredient rather than a skin active.
