Bilberry Extract

Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit ExtractAntioxidant

Anthocyanin-rich berry extract. Antioxidant activity; supporting role rather than primary active.

What it does

Bilberry extract is high in anthocyanins, the same family of polyphenols that give blueberries their color. In vitro antioxidant activity is significant; topical evidence is limited but consistent with the broader antioxidant story. A useful supporting ingredient in AM serums alongside vitamin C and ferulic acid.
