Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate

Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate

Mild sulfosuccinate surfactant. Used as a primary cleanser in sensitive-skin and baby washes.

What it does

Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate is a mild anionic surfactant with a low irritation profile. It's a common pick when a brand wants foam without the barrier-strip of SLS. Often paired with cocamidopropyl betaine or a glucoside for richer lather. Generally well tolerated; not associated with the dryness that sulfates can produce.
