Diethylhexyl Butamido TriazoneSPF filter

Modern UVB filter. Photostable, oil-soluble, used in EU broad-spectrum sunscreens.

What it does

Iscotrizinol is a UVB-absorbing chemical filter with strong photostability. Oil-soluble; integrates well into anhydrous and lipid-rich sunscreen formulations. Approved in EU, AU, and JP; not US. Often co-formulated with bemotrizinol and avobenzone in mid-to-high-end EU sunscreens.
