Lauryl Glucoside
Lauryl Glucoside
Sugar-derived non-ionic surfactant. A close cousin of decyl glucoside, often used in the same family of gentle cleansers.
What it does
Lauryl glucoside is a longer-chain glucoside than decyl, with a slightly different foam and viscosity profile. It's a common ingredient in baby washes, low-pH cleansers, and 'fragrance-free for sensitive skin' formulations. The glucoside family in general is friendlier to compromised barriers than sulfates — useful when you're cleansing through an active flare.

Pairs worth knowing
This page is public and indexed on purpose (unlike profiles and drops, which are unlisted) — it’s the citation behind shared ingredient cards, and it should be findable.
