What it does
Pomegranate extract is high in punicalagins and ellagic acid, both with strong antioxidant activity in vitro. Topical effect is a useful supporting role rather than a load-bearing active. Pomegranate seed oil is a separate INCI with a high punicic-acid content; both deliver antioxidant activity through different routes.
