Thermal Spring Water
Mineral-rich water from geothermal springs, valued for its anti-inflammatory and barrier-supportive trace-mineral profile.
What it does
Thermal spring water is sourced from geothermal springs and contains a unique mineral profile varying by source — selenium, zinc, manganese, silica, and calcium are common. These minerals support enzymatic antioxidant pathways in skin, contribute to barrier repair, and have documented anti-inflammatory effects. It is used as a face mist, toner base, and formulation diluent. Well-studied sources (Avène, La Roche-Posay, Uriage) have the most clinical evidence; lesser-known springs may not share the same profile. Generally extremely gentle and suitable for all skin types including sensitive and reactive skin.
