Bifida Ferment Lysate

Bifida Ferment LysateSoothing

Bifidobacterium-strain fermentation lysate. Hero ingredient in Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair lineage.

What it does

Bifida ferment lysate is the fermentation product of Bifidobacterium, a probiotic strain native to the gut. Topical formulations carry small studies suggesting barrier-recovery support after UV stress. The most famous use is in Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair, which made bifida ferment a recognizable ingredient in mid-priced K-beauty and Western dupe-positioned serums.

The evidence, graded

expert consensusThe traditional K-beauty 10-step layering approach (oil cleanser → foam cleanser → toner → essence → serum → ampoule → sheet mask → eye cream → moisturizer → SPF) is fully compatible with Western actives but not necessary for results.
